Goals are rarely reached in one big push — they're reached by checking in regularly and adjusting. The Weekly Review is a short guided check-in: a snapshot of where your goals stand, a quick rating of your week, and three questions that help you plan the next one. It takes about five minutes.
Start the review
Go to the Dashboard and click Weekly Review in the top-right corner of the welcome area. The button appears once you have at least one goal.
The review opens in a window with a progress bar and a step counter (Step 1 of 6). Use Next to move forward and Back to change an earlier answer.
Step 1: Your snapshot
The first step shows your current goal totals:
- Goals Achieved — goals you've marked Achieved
- In Progress — goals you're working on
- Overall Progress — achieved goals as a share of all your goals
- Overdue — goals whose deadline has passed
Take a moment with these numbers before you move on. A high Overdue count is a sign to move deadlines or cut a goal down to size.
Step 2: How did the week feel?
Answer "How do you feel about your progress this week?" by picking one of five moods: Great, Good, Okay, Tough or Bad. You need to choose a mood before you can continue.
Steps 3 to 5: Reflect and plan
The next three steps each ask one question, with space to write your answer:
- What worked well this week? — strategies, habits or actions that helped
- What didn't go as planned? — obstacles, distractions or missed targets
- What will you focus on next week? — your top priorities and action items
These answers are optional. Even one honest sentence per question is more useful than a perfect essay.
Turn your answer to "What will you focus on next week?" into action straight away: open the goal on My Goals and add it as a step, or move it to the top of the list so it becomes Your next step on the dashboard.
Step 6: Review complete
When you click Next on the last question, your review is saved and you'll see Review Complete! along with the mood you chose. Click Done to close the window.
Your review is saved only when you reach the final step. If you close the window with the X before that, your answers are not kept.
Make it a habit
- Pick a fixed time — Sunday evening or Monday morning work well.
- After the review, look at Needs Attention on the dashboard: these are In Progress goals with no activity for 14 days or more. Either add a smaller next step or change their status.
- Tick off finished steps and milestones before you start, so the snapshot reflects your real week. See Tracking progress and completing goals.
FAQ
Yes. You can open the Weekly Review whenever you like, and each completed review is saved separately.
Completed reviews are saved to your account, but there isn't a page to browse past reviews yet. If you want to look back on your answers, keep a copy in a goal's Notes section as well.
The button only appears on the dashboard once you've created at least one goal. Start with Creating a goal.
