Goal Planner works on the free plan with a limit on how many goals you can keep. Some features need a paid plan. This article lists exactly what changes between the two, so nothing surprises you.

Free plan

  • You can keep up to 3 goals. A goal counts while it is not deleted. Achieved goals still count.
  • Steps, milestones, life areas, templates, notes, the weekly review, the dashboard, the insights and the Share Goal dialog all work on the free plan.
  • When you are at the limit, the goal form and Use This Template open an upgrade message instead.

On My Goals, the free plan shows a counter next to the toolbar with how many of your 3 goals you have used, and an upgrade link.

What needs a paid plan

  • Export on My Goals downloads your goals as a CSV file. On the free plan the button is still there, but it opens the upgrade message ("Export — paid plan") instead of downloading.
  • More than 3 goals.

The image below shows the My Goals toolbar on a paid plan. Export is a direct download link there, and no goal counter is shown.

How to export your goals

  1. Open My Goals.
  2. Click Export in the toolbar.
  3. Your browser downloads a CSV file of your goals.

The button only works on a paid plan. If you are on the free plan, you will see the upgrade message instead.

How to upgrade

Use the upgrade link on the goal counter or in any upgrade message. Plans and billing are managed from Settings, in the Subscription tab. That tab lists each NevaPlan module with its subscription status, as the image shows. See Settings and notifications.

Keeping under the limit

If you have reached 3 goals and want to add another one, you can free a place by deleting a goal you no longer need. Deleting is permanent from your lists. Consider marking an old goal Achieved instead, because achieved goals still count toward the limit.
