  • What the cash flow runway and weekly summary tell you
  • How to plan a pay period on the Paycheck page

What you see

  1. Previous month, Current Month and Next month to move between months.
  2. Print / PDF — prints the calendar.
  3. Start Day — choose the first day of the week for the grid.
  4. Starting Balance — the balance the month starts from.
  5. The grid: each day shows its payments. Select a day to open its details.
  6. Weekly Summary — a button that opens the week panel. For each week it lists the Category rows (Income, Bills, Subscriptions, Debts, Savings) with Week Total, Left to Pay and Cumulative, then the week's Balance.
  7. Cash Flow Runway — the projected balance at the end of the month, with the change since the start of the month. The Income and Expenses cards beside it show the month's totals.
  8. Weekly Trend, plus the rhythm figures: Busiest Day, Top Category and Weekly Outflow.

Filter by type

The chips All, Income, Bills, Subscriptions, Debts and Savings show only that type. The legend beside them marks Paid (struck through) and Overdue (red). Select All to go back to every type.

Day details

Select a day in the grid to see the payments due on it and the balance after them. To change a payment, go to the Recurring and Payments pages; see Recurring transactions and payments.

If the calendar says "No payments scheduled this month", add bills, subscriptions or income on the Recurring page first.

How to plan a paycheck

  1. Choose the frequency tab that matches your pay.
  2. Read Total Income against Budgeted. The Remaining figure is what is left after the planned payments.
  3. Open each pay period, and check the payments that fall in it.
  4. Mark each payment Paid as you pay it, on the Payments page.

Plan the bills due before your next paycheck against that paycheck's income. If Remaining is negative, move a payment or cut a planned amount before the period starts.
