Nepi is the assistant built into the Wedding Planner. You can ask it about your wedding in plain language, such as "How many guests haven't replied yet?" or "What is left to pay?". Nepi knows only your wedding plan, not your other modules.
Opening Nepi
Nepi is the round button at the bottom right of every wedding page. Click it to open the chat panel. The button opens the chat without changing anything.
The first time, the panel shows a greeting and three starter questions. Click one to send it, or type your own in Ask about your wedding…. Use the microphone button to ask by voice; your browser will ask for microphone permission first.
What Nepi can do
- Answer questions about your guests, budget, payments, seating, tasks and vendors.
- Point out what needs attention, such as overdue tasks or unpaid payments. The Needs Your Attention list on the dashboard uses the same information.
- Propose changes, such as creating a task, moving a guest to another table, or saving the wedding date or total budget.
Answers never change your data by themselves. The panel shows Answers questions — never changes your data when you are reading a conversation.
Approving a change
When Nepi proposes a change, the panel shows a preview card with the details and a Confirm button. Nothing is saved until you press Confirm. Press Cancel to drop the proposal. A proposal can expire if you wait too long; in that case you ask again for a new preview.
Read a proposal before you confirm it. Confirmed changes are saved to your wedding plan and recorded in the Audit Log.
Limits
- Nepi has a daily limit. If you reach it, the panel says You reached today's Nepi limit. Please try again tomorrow.
- If Nepi is unavailable, the panel says Nepi is unavailable right now. Try again in a moment.
FAQ
No. It only proposes a change. You must press Confirm for anything to be saved.
Nepi reads the Wedding Planner data only. It does not see your other modules, such as Budget Planner.
Yes. Press the microphone button. If the browser blocks the microphone, allow it in the site settings and reload the page.
Check the numbers on the page it refers to. Nepi's answers are based on your current data, but you should verify important figures before you act on them.
