This page collects the questions people ask most about Habit Tracker, and the fixes for the problems that come up most often. If your question isn't here, the article for that page is the next place to look. Each one is linked from the sidebar group that holds the page.

Habits and check-ins

My habit isn't on the Dashboard. Check that it's active. Paused habits are hidden from the Dashboard and the Tracker. Open My Habits, choose the Paused filter, and click Activate on the habit. Also check the Time of Day and category filters in the Dashboard rail, which may be hiding it. Click all habits to reset the rail. See My Habits.

I can't tick a habit. Only Yes/No habits have a circle on the Dashboard. Amount and Timer habits show Log, which takes you to the Tracker. Quit habits are ticked on the Tracker. See Daily check-ins and streaks.

I ticked the wrong day. Open the Tracker, find the habit and click the box for the right day to clear it. On the Dashboard, pick the day in the date strip and click the circle again to undo.

The Dashboard shows fewer habits than I expected. The counter and the Daily Habits list count daily habits for the selected day. Weekly habits are listed in their own section. The list also shows only five habits until you click Show more.

Streaks and numbers

My streak reset to zero. Your current streak counts unbroken days going back from today. If today isn't done yet, it counts from yesterday, so it only breaks once the day is over. Use the date strip or the Tracker to backfill a day you did complete. Your best run stays in Longest Streak.

The Health Score or Analytics looks wrong. Analytics uses your saved check-ins and only active habits. Check the Tracker for the days in question, and confirm the habits are active. See Analytics.

My focus minutes aren't on my habit. The Focus Timer doesn't write to habits. Enter the minutes yourself in the Tracker's Enter Value dialog. See Focus Timer.

Finishing a routine didn't tick my habits. Routines record the run only. Tick the linked habits on the Dashboard or the Tracker. See Routines.

Plans and limits

I can't add another habit. On the free plan you can keep up to three habits. Paused habits still count, so either delete one you no longer need or upgrade from the upgrade dialog that opens when you try to add one.

Export is locked. Export is available on paid plans. On the free plan the export buttons show a lock and open the upgrade dialog. See Analytics.

Pages and loading

A page says "We couldn't load" or "Failed to load". Click Retry. If it still fails, refresh the page. The message is about that one part of the page, so the rest of the app keeps working.

I see "No results found" or "No habits in this view". Your search or filter has no matches. Clear the search box, or click All or all habits to reset the filter.

A tab on the Wellness page is empty. Each tab shows its own entries. Log something on that tab first. Tabs such as SOS show a message when no exercises are available.

Notifications and settings

I'm not getting Habit Tracker notifications. Open Settings, go to the Notifications tab, and check the Habit Tracker option. Then open the notifications page from the bell and check the Module filter. See Settings and notifications.

Where do I change my password or profile? Open Settings. Account settings are shared across NevaPlan. The Profile and Security tabs cover them.
