Reports is one page that sums up your work. It counts your tasks by status, priority, person and project, and shows how much time you logged. Use it for a weekly check-in or before you talk to a client or your team.

Open Reports in the Views group of the sidebar.

The Reports page: summary numbers, status and priority breakdowns, people and projects

What you see

  1. A short note about scope: the page covers your current variable tasks. Recurring tasks are not included, and progress uses completed task counts.
  2. A project selector. It starts on All Projects.
  3. Four summary cards: Total Tasks, Completed, Overdue and Time Logged.
  4. By Status and By Priority. Each line shows the count, the percentage and a bar.
  5. By Person, showing Completed out of Total Tasks for each person. People with the most open work come first. Tasks with nobody assigned are grouped as Unassigned.
  6. Project Progress, one line per project with a percentage and a line such as "2 of 8 tasks completed". Click a project name to open it.

What the numbers mean

  • Overdue counts tasks that are not done, not canceled, and whose due date is before today.
  • Completed counts tasks that are marked done. In By Status, done tasks are shown under Completed.
  • Time Logged is the total tracked with the timer. If it can't load, it shows a dash and a Retry button. See Time Tracking.
  • A project with no tasks shows a dash instead of a percentage.

How to report on one project

  1. Open the project selector at the top.
  2. Choose a project.
  3. All the cards and lists update to that project. Time Logged also follows the choice.
  4. Choose All Projects to go back.

When you choose a project, the Project Progress list shows only that project.

Reports shows the present moment, not a history. To see how the open count changed over time, use the Burndown chart. See Team Workload, Portfolio and Burndown.

The page has no export or print button. To keep a copy, use your browser's print function.

FAQ

A task is overdue when it is not done, not canceled and its due date is before today.

This page only counts variable tasks. Recurring tasks are left out on purpose.

Those tasks have no Person In Charge. Open a task and set one.

They are counted from your current variable tasks every time you open the page. Change a task and the numbers change with it.
