The Travel Community page shows trips that other travelers have chosen to share. Browse it for ideas about where to go and how to plan a route, and see what other people found worth doing.
Open it from the sidebar under Explore & remember.
What you see
- Trending Destinations, a row of destinations that are popular right now. It appears once there are shared trips to rank.
- The feed of shared trips. Each card shows the trip's details and a heart with the number of likes.
- Load More at the bottom, to show more trips.
If nobody has shared a trip yet, the page says "No trips shared yet" and "Share your trip to be the first!"
Look at a shared trip
Click View Trip on a card to open the shared trip. You see the public version of the trip, which is the same information the owner chose to share.
Like a trip
Click the heart on a card to like it. The count goes up. Click the heart again to remove your like.
Likes are a simple way to show that a trip is useful. They do not give you access to the trip or change it.
Share your own trip
Your trip appears in the community only when you share it. To share a trip:
- Open the trip page of the trip you want to share.
- Click Share in the trip heading. The link is copied and the button reads Copied! for a moment.
- The button then reads Shared, and the trip is public.
To stop sharing, click Shared again. The trip is then removed from the public page. See The trip page.
A shared trip can be seen by anyone who finds it in the community. Before you share, remove any private notes from the description, and do not include personal details such as passport numbers or booking codes.
FAQ
Check that the trip is shared: its trip page should show Shared. Sharing can take a moment to appear in the feed.
The community page has no copy option. To plan a similar trip, create a new trip with New Trip and add the activities you want.
