My Trips is the list of every trip in your account. Use it to find a trip, create a new one, or delete a trip you no longer need. Click any trip card to open its trip page.
Open it from the sidebar under Plan your trip, or click All trips on the dashboard.
What you see
The page is made of these parts, from top to bottom:
- Header. The title Trips, the total count (for example "5 trips total"), the AI Generate button and the New Trip button.
- Search. The Search trips... field. It matches the trip name and the destination.
- Status filter. All, then each status: Planned, Ongoing, Completed and Cancelled. The selected chip is highlighted.
- Date filter. All Dates, Upcoming, This Month and Past.
- Sort. By Date, By Name or By Budget.
- Counter. It shows how many trips match the current filters, for example "3/5".
- Trip cards. Each card shows the trip's status, its destination and dates, the number of days, and the number of days left until the trip starts.
If no trip matches, the page says "No trips found" and "Try a different search term". If you have no trips at all, it says "No trips yet" with the button Plan a Trip.
Find a trip
- Type part of the name or destination in Search trips.... Click the X in the field to clear it.
- Click a status chip to show only trips with that status. Click All to show every status again.
- Combine filters. For example, Upcoming plus Planned shows the trips you still have to take.
- Click By Date, By Name or By Budget to change the order.
Filters and sorting only change what you see on this page. They do not change your trips.
Create a trip
There are two ways to start a new trip from this page.
New Trip
- Click New Trip. The New Trip window opens.
- Fill in Trip Name, Destination, Start Date and End Date. The name and both dates are required.
- Optionally fill in Budget (optional), the Currency and Travelers. Travelers are separated by commas, for example "Emily, James".
- Click Create Trip. While the trip is being saved the button shows Creating.... The window closes when the trip is created, and the list shows the new trip.
The currency for a new trip starts with the Default Currency you chose in Settings. That default is stored in your browser. See Settings.
AI Generate
AI Generate opens the AI Trip Generator. You enter a destination, dates, a budget, a travel style (Budget, Mid-Range or Luxury) and optional interests, and the generator proposes a plan for a new trip.
This feature uses AI and is limited by your plan. If you have reached the limit, the app shows a message instead of generating a plan. Only open the window if you want to use it.
Open a trip
Click a trip card to open its trip page. See The trip page.
Delete a trip
Deleting a trip removes it and all the data inside it: activities, bookings, expenses, packing lists and the rest. This cannot be undone.
- Click the trash icon on the trip card. The Delete trip? window opens.
- Read the warning. It says that the trip and all its data will be removed.
- Click Delete Trip to confirm. The button shows Deleting... while it runs. Click Cancel to keep the trip.
There is no archive option on this page. If you only want a finished trip out of the way, keep it and change its Status to Completed or Cancelled instead of deleting it.
Use the Status field in Edit Trip to show a finished trip as Completed. It keeps its data and moves into the Completed filter.
FAQ
Check the active filters first. A status chip, a date filter or the search text may be hiding it. Click All and All Dates and clear the search field.
Yes. Only the Trip Name and both dates are required. You can add the destination and budget later from Edit Trip on the trip page.
It proposes a plan for a new trip after you run it, and it uses AI, so it is limited by your plan. You can also create a trip by hand with New Trip.
