The Photos tab on a trip page is a shared album for that trip. Everyone on the trip can add pictures, and the album can be turned into a photobook PDF.
Open the trip page, then click the Photos tab.
What you see
- The Upload Photos panel, which lists the accepted formats: JPEG, PNG, or WebP up to 5MB each.
- The Caption (optional) field, used for the photos you add next.
- The Add Photos button.
- The album grid below. When the album is empty, it says "No photos yet" and "Upload photos to create a shared album for this trip".
Once the album has photos, a line above the grid shows how many photos it holds and how many contributors added them.
Upload photos
- Type a Caption (optional) in the field, if you want one. The caption is applied to the photos you add next.
- Click Add Photos.
- Choose one or more pictures from your device.
- Wait for the upload to finish. The photos appear in the album.
The album accepts JPEG, PNG, or WebP pictures up to 5MB each. Pictures in other formats, or larger than 5MB, are not uploaded.
Browse the album
Click a photo to open it at full size. Use Previous and Next to move through the album. You can also use the left and right arrow keys. Close the view to return to the grid.
Hover over a photo to see its small action buttons. One of them deletes the photo from the album.
Photos on the map
Photos that have a location appear as pins on the Map tab. A Photos toggle on the Map tab shows or hides them. See Map.
Download a photobook
Click Photobook PDF to download the album as a PDF photobook. Use it to print the trip, or to keep a copy. Depending on your plan, the export may be limited.
Upload the photos at the end of each day, while you remember where they were taken. Add a short caption to each one, so the photobook tells the story.
For written memories, use the Journal.
